The BA. Interdisciplinary Studies allows students to develop essential skills such as writing, analysis, critical thinking, and research across disciplines. Students explore fields such as business, humanities, communications, science, and culture. Graduates are prepared for advanced study in their area of concentration and may go on to careers in communications, media, academia, and beyond.
The B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (allows students to combine an interdisciplinary concentration with in-depth coursework in a disciplinary field to create a customized major that reflects their own interests and prepares them for their chosen career path. The core curriculum provides students with the intellectual tools to integrate their concentration areas, engage in transdisciplinary problem-solving, and prepare for careers and graduate programs that increasingly cross disciplinary boundaries
