Welcome to the B.Tech Automobile Engineering

The 4-year Automotive Engineering Bachelor course prepares students for design and testing of complete vehicles and components. Graduates will have a broad range of automotive skills in mechanical engineering, chassis design as well as future mobility concepts and management in an international setting. The Automotive Engineer is able to contribute in all departments and is an excellent trouble shooter in finding solutions through research or otherwise.
The Automotive Engineering course combines theory with practice within its study modules as well as through internship and graduation assignment. Learning to work in projects with people from different cultures and background plays an important role in preparing students for a successful international career in the automotive industry. Students gather work experience during their study through their internship (6 months) in a country of their choosing.
You could work in:

  • design – turning ideas into blueprints for development and testing, taking into account safety, cost-effectiveness, environmental impact and look
  • development – building and testing prototypes using computer simulations and physical models to assess components' strengths, weaknesses, performance and safety
  • production – planning the production run, including redesigning machine tools, equipment and processes to make new parts, monitoring costs and production schedules, and overseeing quality control
