The Software Development (DEV) concentration is designed to instruct students in the programming process and focuses on best practices in web interface design and development. Topics include systems analysis and design, web application development, user interface design, and web programming. It prepares students to move into advanced careers in computer science and software by providing the necessary advanced skills and knowledge in computer systems, software, and telecommunications to effectively implement computerization processes across several industries including healthcare, manufacturing, research and development, education, finance, and other fields which require advanced computerization to remain competitive in the global economy.

English Language Requirement

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
