Once enrolled, you’ll work with an academic advisor to match your career and major goals with an appropriate program and to select appropriate courses for a major at an intended transfer institution. Whether you’re looking to start your career as soon as you’ve earned your bachelors degree or you’re planning to continue on to graduate school, your two years at Lane will make sure you’re prepared for whatever comes next. Some of the fields our graduates have gone on to include: Architecture, Linguistics, Fashion Design, Arts Administration, Communications Disorders and Sciences, Journalism, Interior Design, , Product Design, , Media Studies and Communications, Public Relations, Speech Pathology. The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree is a state-approved associate degree that is intended to prepare students to transfer to public universities in Oregon. The AAOT is a block-transfer degree, which means a student with an AAOT will have met the lower-division general education requirements for baccalaureate degree programs at Oregon public universities. Students transferring with an AAOT degree will have junior standing for registration purposes only. English Language Requirement

Lane Community College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
