Welcome to the BSc. Construction Management - Commercial Construction Management

Construction degree students get hands-on experience in the field and in the classroom. At MTSU, the Construction Management Bachelor of Science program offers a Commercial Construction Management Concentration. Construction degree students learn the wide range of skills it takes to provide complex buildings and related infrastructure. These buildings include medical facilities, educational facilities, sports facilities, office buildings, and more. Through this program, students learn the technology and leadership skills needed in the commercial sector of the Construction industry. MTSU's School of Concrete and Construction Management building features learning labs, classroom space, computer labs with Building Information Modeling software and project management platforms, an amphitheater, and more.

Career Path

A degree in the Commercial Construction Management concentration within the Bachelor of Science program in Construction Management prepares students for entry-level careers in the commercial construction sector of the construction industry. Examples include: Architectural Coordinator, Building Inspector, Construction Manager, Estimator, Industrial and Technical Sales, Historical Restoration, Home Builder, Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Software Success Manager, Superintendent, Virtual Design and Construction Manager.

English Language Requirement

Middle Tennessee State University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
