Welcome to the BSc. Financial Technology (Online)

The programme offered combines knowledge of economics, finance and information technology, enabling you to understand key directional issues centred around e-finance, financial analytics, data visualisation and processing or machine learning. During your education, you will also learn about tools that support the digitalisation of financial processes – such as Python programming, artificial intelligence or blockchain.
Gain the financial technology (FinTech) skills essential for a career in tomorrow’s financial institutions. With developments in computing continuing to accelerate, understanding their applications to financial markets will make you highly employable in a variety of industries.
The BSc offers you the opportunity to gain experience at the cutting edge between finance and computer science. You’ll develop quantitative and analytical skills as well as your coding and programming capabilities. You have access to our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, located in the Business School, and to Thomson Reuters service platforms. This allows you to take part in real-time financial and trading simulation, supervised by academic and industry experts.

This course prepares you for roles in the exciting and growing industry known as financial technology (FinTech), where there are opportunities in banks, consultancies, investment companies, asset management companies, stock brokerage firms and peer-to-peer lending companies.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
