The Professional Mathematics Concentration (Advanced Mathematics) of the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences provides students with a comprehensive foundation in advanced mathematics at the Undergraduate level. As the technical sophistication of most professions increases, there is a growing need for individuals capable of "speaking the language" of mathematics. Mathematicians increasingly are sought to probe and expand mathematical theory, as engineering and empirical science delve deeper into nature.
