Welcome to the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education

Middlesex University Dubai is pleased to offer higher education professionals the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised teaching qualification via its Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE). Increasingly universities are requiring their teaching staff to have formal teaching qualifications in addition to their academic qualifications.
 Participants will be assisted to reflect and think critically and constructively about their practice as facilitators of learning in order to develop as confident, effective, professional higher education practitioners who can employ a wide range of contemporary educational practices to promote and enhance the learning of their students.
Students are offered the opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for effective leadership and management in education. Students can also choose to develop an understanding of local and international SEND provision, strategy and policy, alongside developing their knowledge of other vital subject areas in education.
