Welcome to the MA. Higher Education Administration

With a master’s degree in higher education administration, you’ll be prepared for a leadership position in a post-secondary setting. You will learn to design, conduct, critique, and use various research methodologies: critically assess student needs and design improvement programs: develop strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills: and critically assess higher education function and stucture.
Our program strives to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to make data-informed decisions, and initiate efforts of organizational change to improve higher education opportunities, outcomes, and institutions, with a focus on policy, inclusion, and equity.
Career Path
This course gives you the opportunity to evaluate your professional role and practices in the ever-changing ideological, political, social, regulatory, economic and technological context of higher education. It is designed to help you pursue a career in higher education management or in academic teaching research and leadership.. As a graduate, you will have also developed a sound basis for pursuing further study such as, for example, undertaking a PhD in educational research/educational studies.
