Saint Louis University's occupational therapy program offers a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. The direct admit B.S. to M.O.T. is a five-year curriculum, including one summer. Students admitted as freshmen, as well as transfer students entering before the junior year, receive a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science after successful completion of the first four years and then earn an M.O.T. degree after successful completion of the additional post-baccalaureate year. Students who receive a bachelor's degree and apply for the master’s program will complete their M.O.T. degree in two years, including one summer. Freshman-entry with direct-admit from BS to MOT in a 3+2 graduate professional program. Saint Louis University is one of only a few universities in the United States that offers a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science. This undergraduate degree provides students with a unique body of knowledge that equips them to excel in SLU’s Master of Occupational Therapy accelerated program and provides them with a competitive advantage with specialized knowledge about the power of occupation upon graduation. Occupation and Health: Graduates will capitalize on the health-promoting benefits of occupation in practice. Graduates will advocate for occupational justice experienced by humans. Graduates will make informed judgments through the use of professional reasoning. Graduates will be able to present themselves professionally through their conduct and their communication. Graduates will be able to describe the occupational nature of humans as occupational beings across the lifespan. Graduates will be able to analyze contextual influences on occupational engagement.Graduates will interpret scholarly literature for application to health through occupation. Graduates will be able to examine the relationship between health and occupation. Graduates will consider the person holistically, inclusive of their environments

English Language Requirement

Saint Louis University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit
