Our
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering is the pinnacle of advanced
scholarly pursuit in the field, designed to produce experts who push the
boundaries of research and innovation in the design, construction, and
maintenance of our built and natural environments. This rigorous,
research-intensive degree immerses students in a deep exploration of core civil
engineering disciplines such as structural, geotechnical, transportation, water
resources, and environmental engineering while also encouraging
multidisciplinary approaches to solving complex challenges related to
urbanization, sustainability, and resilience. Throughout
the program, you will engage in advanced coursework and independent research,
developing novel methodologies and computational models that can address
real-world issues from ensuring the integrity and safety of critical
infrastructure to pioneering sustainable design practices.

Sharda University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or student should submit
