This BA (Hons) degree is designed for students pursuing a career in journalism, media and communications and beyond. You will receive professional training and proficiency in print, broadcast and online journalism. Journalism at City has a real-world emphasis. You’ll spend time in small workshops learning the multimedia skills required for a career in 21st century journalism: from writing, reporting and interviewing, to social media analytics and preparing page layouts on screen.
This is complemented by academic modules exploring the role and impact of journalism in society through elective modules in English, Sociology, Politics and Creative Writing. These classes are delivered through lectures and seminars and assessed through examination and essays.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
