The Level 5 Diploma in Psychology is an Ofqual regulated UK qualification benchmarked at RQF Level 5, equivalent to the second year of a UK bachelor's degree. Designed to deepen understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and psychological theories, the course covers key topics such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, biological psychology, and quantitative research methods. Assessment is coursework based, preparing graduates for roles in community support, mental health assistance, Human Resources, or educational guidance, as well as enabling direct entry into the final year (Level 6 topup degree) of a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree. The programme prepares students for further academic study in psychology and related disciplines while providing a strong foundation for careers in mental health, education, social services, and human development.
