Welcome to the BA. English Philology

Our English philology program offers knowledge, experience, and practical analytical and IT skills necessary to guide and develop your career as a translator, teacher, editor, communication and intercultural integration specialist, or an independent entrepreneur.
We emphasize teaching practical and directly applicable language skills. You will become proficient in using modern technologies and solutions in language services. You will learn fluent English, even if you are starting from scratch. You will learn how to work in project-oriented teams and gain entrepreneurial skills.
Career Path
Often dealing with granular and complex data, your combination of humanities and scientific understanding will allow you to make connections across multiple fields of employment, including the media, marketing, speech and language therapy, lexicography, and teaching.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
