The Department of Geography and
the Environment at KPU provides students with the unique
opportunity to discover the world around them in a discipline that blends
approaches and perspectives from the natural sciences, social sciences, and
humanities. Geographers study the spatial dimensions of the natural
environment and human activities and examine the connections between the human
and non-human realms.
Career Path

of career opportunities in government and non-profit organizations, research,

Geography graduates may purse: Cartographer, Urban Planner, Climatologist, Conservationist,
Policy Researcher, Environmental Engineer, Teacher, Resource Management, Geographic
Information Systems Manager.
