The goal of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is to provide healthcare staff that helps patients achieve optimal recovery of function and movement, and enhance the overall quality of life through Promotion of fitness and healthcare, Augmentation of independence in activities of daily living, and prevention of disabilities, Identification of causes for dysfunction (like pain, muscle tightness). Our graduates are dedicated to advancing their knowledge of effective physiotherapy and rehabilitation therapies, and delivering the best possible patient care. Patient contact is an integral part of the educational program at an early stage, provided with summer practices and clinical training rounds.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

İstanbul Medipol University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
