Evaluate the contributions of various individuals and/or groups throughout history as agents of social change. Understand and apply historical knowledge as a critical thinking tool that informs responsible citizenry. Apply a historical perspective to analyze and interpret historical patterns to improve one’s state of humanity.

Career Path

Majoring in history is an excellent foundation for students interested in education, the legal professions, community activism, library and archival studies, international relations, journalism, public relations, and political service.
