About This School

The International College of Tourism and Management (ITM College Austria) is a private tourism college with public status based in Bad Vöslau, Austria. Established in 1986, ITM was the first Austrian tourism college to introduce English as the language of instruction. The institution focuses on international knowledge transfer in the field of Austrian tourism and hospitality management. We educate and train motivated and open-minded students for a successful career in the international tourism and hospitality industry. It is our aspiration that our graduates can take over leading management positions in the finest tourism resorts worldwide and/or that they can successfully establish their own companies and run them successfully.

The College Garden Hotel, a fully operational seminar and event hotel, is located on the ITM campus. It provides an ideal learning environment, offering students opportunities for practical training in a professional hospitality setting. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world atmosphere. In addition to on-campus training, students complete a 13-week mandatory internship in tourism and hospitality businesses. These internships take place across various companies in Austria and internationally, ensuring exposure to diverse industry practices.

ITM offers a two year diploma programme in Hotel and Tourism Management, providing students with a comprehensive education in tourism management, practical hospitality training and foreign languages (English, German, Spanish). Due to the high number of international students and the global nature of the tourism industry, the programme is taught entirely in English and is therefore especially ideal for international students coming to Austria and Europe for their studies. The curriculum includes practical training in key operational areas of the hospitality industry, such as food and beverage service, culinary arts, and front office operations. This hands-on training is an essential part of the programme, equipping students with the skills needed for a successful career in the tourism sector.
