Welcome to the BA Gastronomy and Hotel Industry (Online)

By choosing the Gastronomy and Hotel Industry specialisation, you will focus on details related to the quality of hotel and catering services that determine competitiveness in the market. You will learn about the strategy of building and running a tourism business and the ins and outs of business and service management from both the economic and legal side, as well as the personnel or marketing side.
During your studies, you will not only gain specialised knowledge but also develop competences that are useful to tourism professionals – such as interpersonal skills, communication skills and teamwork.  Plenty of practical activities await you – interesting workshops and field exercises in, for example, designing and arranging hotel spaces, running agritourism, sensory analysis and cupping or managerial skills.
You will graduate with a systematic understanding, and coherent and detailed knowledge, of facts, concepts and principles related to gastronomy management, which can be used in your future career in the industry, in addition to gaining a systematic understanding of the structure, management, and marketing of organisations within the gastronomy industry.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
