Electronics Technology


The ElectronicsTechnology diploma program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills required to work as a technologist in the electronics field. This program offers a broad range of skill-based training in fundamental areas such as math, physical science, electrical circuits, critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communication, and teamwork as well as technical skills such as selecting, design, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and support systems.
Throughout the program, students will learn and apply the knowledge and skills in a real, practical, and simulated environment through lectures, extensive hands-on activities, and individual or team projects.
The program emphasizes a combination of electronics technology theory and practical application necessary for successful employment using both manual and computerized electronics systems. Program graduates receive an Electronics Technology Diploma which qualifies them as electronics technicians with a specialization in biomedical instrumentation, communications electronics, computer electronics, general electronics, industrial electronics, or telecommunications electronics.
Career path
Careers in electronics engineering technology include calibration, mechatronics, or electronic technician; control inspector; electricians; welders; programmers, operators, and tenders.

English Language Requirement

Near East University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
