The Dietetics and Nutrition BSc degree will help you develop the relevant knowledge and skills to become a dietitian or nutritionist. You'll study life and nutritional sciences, exploring the role of diet and nutrition in disease prevention and treatment.
Our Nutrition and Dietetics degree combines research-led, evidence-based teaching with simulation, service user participation and clinical placements to equip you with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to become autonomous, competent and compassionate dietitians. The course is delivered by registered dietitians, nutritionists, bioscientists and physiologists, who have extensive experience working in clinical dietetics, nutrition, the food industry, public health, biosciences, and sport and exercise.
Dietitians interpret the science of nutrition to improve health, and treat diseases and medical conditions by educating and giving practical, personalised advice to clients, patients, carers and colleagues.
We’ll introduce you to the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease. This practical guidance will enable you to help members of the public make healthier lifestyle and food choices.
