The BSc Marketing and Management
enables you to able to design and deliver a compelling marketing strategy by
developing your understanding of consumer behaviour, wants and needs. The
marketing elements of this programme introduce you to the principles that
deliver good marketing practice. You will learn about consumers and the role of
markets and marketing in today’s society. You will develop an understanding of
how marketing contributes to the financial health of an organisation by
covering an introduction to the principles of accounting, and to understand how
markets behave, you will also be introduced to economics. The management
component of the degree will ensure you have a strong grounding in
organisational structures, management skills, and business strategy. The marketing
management option emphasizes the diversity of strategies for businesses and
not-for-profit organizations. Students will also have a strong foundation in
the areas of consumer behavior, advertising and promotion, marketing
research, and marketing strategy. The marketing major with the
marketing management option emphasizes the development of a strategic marketing
mindset for managers of businesses and not-forprofit organizations.

Marketing Management graduates have a
wide choice of career opportunities within the many facets of advertising,
marketing, sales and public relations. Examples of job titles include
